Our client is a Calgary-based Tech firm specializing in Data and IT services. As their business expands in scope, they are seeking an Administrative Assistant to facilitate this growth. The ideal candidate must be organized, customer service oriented, and possess a proven track record of reliability and delivering results. Our client is a boutique Tech firm, as such the candidate must be collaborative, pragmatic, and resourceful.
Core hours are Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm. This is a Full-time 1-year Contract position.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBLITIES
Greet clients and visitors.
Open and/or close the office.
Maintain office supply levels.
Organize / arrange courier pickups and deliveries.
Ensure office is clean and presentable.
Addressing social media interactions (e.g. Facebook, Twitter, etc.)
Prepare work orders and technical documentation.
Perform quality assurance checks and track warranty returns.
Assign incoming technical support requests to technicians.
Maintain data hardware inventory.
Pickup products from suppliers and clients using a company vehicle.
Coordinate pick up’s and ensure work orders are closed.
Assist with collection of credit card receipts.
Maintain the petty cash float, ensuring that it is balanced at all times.
Ensure all outstanding invoices have been sent to clients.
Follow up with delinquent accounts. Other AR duties as assigned.
Assist accounting team when required.
3 years experience in Administration/Reception.
A valid Class 5 Drivers License and clean drivers abstract.
Able to lift 40 pounds comfortably.
Strong communication skills (read, write, speak) in English. Other languages are an asset.
Advanced MS Office Suite, specifically excel.
